Tool licence - bring your own officer

License the workspace for the compliance officer your company already employs. The customer keeps the appointment relationship and the Bestellurkunde. CIVAC supplies the platform, the templates, the AI assistant and the monthly evidence export. Right for companies that want their officer in-house but want their week to stop running on a 200-tab spreadsheet.

Officer-as-a-service - appoint ours

CIVAC and a vetted partner network supply the appointed officer plus the workspace, end-to-end. The officer is appointed in writing on behalf of the customer organisation and reports directly to its leadership. From request to active appointment within two business days under the standard SLA. Right for roles that are hard to hire (Datenschutz, Geldwäsche, Information Security) or where one role does not warrant a full-time hire (Betriebsarzt, Brandschutz, Strahlenschutz).

Mixed model - combine both

Most customers above 100 employees end up here. License the workspace for your internal Datenschutzbeauftragten, appoint a CIVAC-supplied Betriebsarzt and ESG-Beauftragten on top, and the entire compliance picture surfaces in one workspace and one monthly export.

Who actually performs the officer duties?

Under the tool licence, the customer's internal officer does. Under officer-as-a-service, a CIVAC-vetted appointed officer does, on the customer's behalf, in writing.

Can a customer mix internal and external officers?

Yes. This is the most common configuration above 100 employees. Internal where the role warrants a full hire, external where it doesn't.

What happens if the appointed officer leaves?

Officer-as-a-service customers stay covered through the partner network. The replacement officer steps into the same workspace, the same evidence trail, the same reporting line. No re-onboarding.
